Workshop Series
Throughout the year, the Urban Farm Church offers a variety of learning experiences in a workshop setting. These 1.5-hour workshops are FREE and open to the public. All workshops are held from 6:00-7:30pm at 3901 Maize Rd, Columbus. Click on the Events page to register for an upcoming workshop.
January 14 - Mushroom Logs
This hands-on workshop allows participants to make and take home their own mushroom log! Sign up early - this one fills up fast!
March 11 - Wine Cap Workshop
Get hands-on experience inoculating the Farm with wine cap mushrooms - and how you can do this in your own garden!
May 13 - Summer Veggies
Learn the best ways to give your summer veggies a leg up with Tim McDermott of OSU Extension, followed by a farm walk.
February 11 - Birdhouses
Come build your own birdhouse to take home while also learning about what birds you might find in your own backyard!
April 8 - Resilience Hub
Come tour the new Climate Resilience Hub located on the Maize Manor Campus and learn how important community resilience can be!
June 10 - Blackberries
Enjoy this on-the-farm workshop about trellising blackberries, then pick as many blackberries as you would like to take home!
