Workshop Series

Each month, the Urban Farm Church offers a different learning experience in a workshop setting. These 1.5-hour workshops are FREE and open to the public. All workshops are held from 6:00-7:30pm at 3901 Maize Rd, Columbus. Light refreshments will be served.

January 17: Mushroom Logs

A Farm favorite! Urban Farm Church Farm & Education Developer Taylor Green will show you and help you make your own mushroom log! Spots are limited to 30 people!

March 30: Basic Gardening

Learn the basics of urban gardening and get all of your questions answered by urban gardening pro Tim McDermott of OSU Extension-Franklin County.

May 8: Herb Preservation

Ever wished you could grow and preserve herbs to use during the winter months? Learn more with Jenny Lobb from OSU Extension!

February 21: Grow Rooms

Want to grow your own transplants instead of buying them? Consider installing a grow room in your home! Learn how to build one and see a working one in action!

April 17: Edible Weeds

Are the weeds in your yard just your next salad in the making? Learn what weeds are edible & ways to use them from Master Gardener Dianne Kadonaga.

June 26: Creation Care Camp

Bring your family and learn more about fun and simple ways to care for the environment! Geared toward families with kids ages 4 to 12.
